Just as I always suspected... can't wait 'til I can get out and run again. I figure it'll be February before that happens, though.

Wow – great stuff. I have contemplated these exact thoughts and continue to run. Why – because it is worth every step.

I was never the greatest athlete but I was always willing to work hard that always allowed me to participate. In the past year I have found that training for marathons speaks to my soul and after each run provides me a sense of renewal.

Running makes me work harder, think clearer, eat healthier, and sleep sounder.

Is it worth it?

Yes, it is worth it and for those that have to ask pick up your sneakers and come for a run to find out because to really know you must first experience.

Keep Running.

I wish I could run like Kara.

I read "Born to Run" over my vacation. Thanks for sharing. Truly an excellent book. I will return the next time I see you or Chuck.

I love this post... I might start bugging you to borrow the book.

We'll have to get out on a run soon. I took a couple months off from long distances > 10 miles but I'm getting back into it as I train for a late fall marathon.

Take care,

Hey MO! Glad to hear you are doing well. I'd like to think adjusting to altitude is no problem for you.

Good news - the Vermont 50 is NOT the same weekend as the Montreal marathon. It's two weeks after it on Sept 27th. So I'm all in. Now the question remains: do we do the 50K or the 50 mile???

Bring back a high red blood cell count from the mountain up there, superwoman.

CLIMB ON!
